Why choose the Winchester Homework Buddy Program?
While we might not be as wide spread as some other tutoring programs, we know the curriculum better than anyone. It is also a more personal and easier experience for the student to work with someone who is near their age and understands them better.
What is the structure of how it works?
Your child will meet up with a buddy during an hour long zoom meeting, during which they will work with them to complete the homework. For this to work, we will need to be sent an image or screenshot of the homework through their personal folder.*Directions for this can be found under the resources tab
What's a buddy?
A buddy is a current student at Winchester high school who has already completed the courses that your child is going to be going through. They will have gotten all A’s throughout their middle school careers.
How does this help your child?
We here at homework buddy will make sure that the homework is completed with a full understanding of the topics being taught. We will offer guidance and ways to comprehend the complex topics that they are being taught.
How do I know my child will get along with the Buddy?
Once you have confirmed your appointment we can help schedule a 15 minute minute ‘Get-to-Know-You’ zoom session with your tutor just so to see if they are a good match!
Can more than one of my children work with the same Buddy in the same session?
Unfortunately not. Sessions are tailored specifically to your child. Trying to Buddy up with multiple children at the same time usually doesn't provide the quality of help for which we strive. It's just not as good a learning experience.
If I sign up for multiple subjects, does that mean I have to book multiple sessions?
No. We will provide someone who hsas experience in all of those subjects.
What if my child misses an appointment after I've paid?
Provided you've given us 24 hours notice, we will work to reschedule either that week or another time.
What if we decide to stop?
You may stop at any time. If you cancel with fewer than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for your scheduled appointment. If you have any hours remaining on your 10-hour package, you will receive a 50% refund on the remaining hours.

• Call or contact us to schedule an appointment. We'll match you with one of our Buddies that fits your child's help needs and personality.
• We charge $25 per hour for individual sessions. If you purchase a 10-hour package, you receive an 11th hour for free!
• Buddy Availability: 10AM—6PM
• All sessions are a minimum of 1-hour long. Sessions longer than 1 hour incorporate a 10-minute break for the student and Buddy into the total time.
• Contactless payment wil be charged at the end of each session via payment options on our Resources page.
•Homework Buddy provides high-quality personalized service so we have limited tutors and time slots available. Should we be booked, we can put you on our waitlist for the next available Buddy.
